My OCs Nurya and Quinton, who don't have very casual confrontations at all.
Both are Pyrans - fire wielders - who come from two totally different walks of life. And while Quinton seems to have it out for Nurya, she could really just care less. To her, Quinton's just "practice", and she finds his constant obsession with challenging her amusing at times.

Nurya Aldeya is probably my feistiest character. She's headstrong, ambitious, and things must always go her way. She's very confident, sometimes maybe a little too much, and she approaches situations virtually unafraid. However, she doesn't always think about the consequences her actions can have, so she's lucky to have her friends watching her back just as much as she watches theirs. Nurya also has a tendency to be a bit gabby. She likes to gossip, and more often than not she'll tell someone exactly what she thinks, which can be a good or bad thing. But aside from her daring nature, Nurya can be a real sweetheart, and friends often enjoy her company and advice.
The markings of Nurya's hands are meant to be reminiscent of a birds talon. I often refer to Nurya as "the Phoenix."

As for Quinton, I may write about him another time.
All I'll say now is he's on the villain side, but he's not a very good one. Kinda a lackey.... poor Quinton. :/
